In a classic piece of English understatement, Mike said to me just before we left the cafe, "this in an ominously fast group". He was right! On the run across the flat-lands to Staplehurst we were doing 23mph into the wind. That burned me out; I got back at about 3:00pm with a hole melted in my shorts.

But thanks to all anyway, it was a great run and actually what I needed.
